Dumplings + Drawing

Studio Mint's love of people and place is informed by an education in architecture and experience working in community engagement, urban and architectural design across the north of England and further afield. In 2022, we delivered a series of workshops using vareniki (a Ukrainian dumpling) as a catalyst to begin a discussion about the essence of ‘home’ through ritual and shared experience. We invited participants to draw upon their own rituals and produce personal maps to examine how these narratives can create place.
